She began her career as a ceramicist at the Korean Cultural Center in Paris, following the centuries-old tradition of Korean ceramics. She graduated in ceramics in Lisbon, where she studied at Ar.Co.

MARIA JOÃO PAIS
Student at Ar.Co - Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual between 2019 and 2022. She completed the three years of ceramics course and then she deepened her artistic practice and reflection by pursuing the two-year individual project program there.
MAGDALENA SANTA MARTA
She studied ceramics at Ar.Co - Centro de Arte e Comunicação Visual. In 2018/2019, she received a scholarship from the Fundação Altice de Formação Artística and, in the following year, she received a scholarship from Ar.Co.
One of the first Curva students, she has an unconventional approach to construction and finishing, resulting in fun and very experimental pieces.
It's in formation and it wants to stay that way. Dedicated to creativity, design and communication for 16 years, she has been discovering in the Ar.co modules, in the Joana Simão atelier and in the CURVA classes a renewed artistic and plastic expression, since 2020. And it is in the rough and imperfect forms that she sees more road to go.
