About the Workshop
Plaster molds have been used in pottery for centuries. With them we have the possibility of working in series and reproducing what we have chosen as a model and, when ready, they can be used by casting filling or press moulding.
In this workshop, students will make multipart casts in plaster and delve deeper into this traditional technique when making decisions depending on the complexity of the model. Taught by Katie Lagast, a Belgian artist who has lived in Lisbon since 2015, the 15-hour workshop will take place on the 3rd, 8th, 10th, 15th and 17th of February (from 7pm to 10pm).
