CRUDE

Presenting its second space, Curva hosts its first exhibition with selected works by its resident artists. 

 

Entitled CRU, the exhibition invites the viewer into a raw landscape, where sculptural pieces made of unfired clay address the fundamental links between bodies and Earth. 

 

Each artist explores interactions with materials, creating clashes between textures that result in visceral expressions. The tactile surfaces of the pieces echo ecological degradation, inviting the analysis of our presence and impact on nature.

 

It is an invitation to reflect on the predatory rhythms of invasion, extraction, exploration, domination, captured in the tensions between forms within the global landscape of the exhibition.
